- Brush & Cork provides social and entertaining painting events. Judy Grossman provides serious fine art workshops for trained artists. Please do not expect to come to a 2 to 3 hour class and expect any art theory or instruction for personal artistic, continued development. We hope that you will learn a few fun techniques and develop a better understanding of the creative process. We are here for the inexperienced person to relax, enjoy, and have fun in a non-threatening environment.
- We begin sessions promptly. Please plan on arriving 15-30 minutes before your session begins, in order to sign in, get seated and enjoy a little sippin? and schmoozin?.
- Events usually run about 2-? to 3 hours, but occasionally they do run over, depending on the complexity of the painting.
- YOU supply your favorite beverage and snacks. WE supply everything else you need for the event: cups, napkins, plates, plasticware, cork screws, aprons, easel, paint, brushes, and canvas.
- Our studio is BYOB- We encourage you to bring your favorite libation (wine, beer, soda, juice, etc.) and snacks. Evening sessions are intended for adults…please plan accordingly. Brush & Cork does not sell or serve alcohol. Under all circumstances, you must be at least 21 years old to consume alcohol. We may require a photo ID.
- If you do not finish your painting in time, or want to make some minor touch-ups, you may bring it in and visit free of charge during off hours. Please call in advance to make sure we are available at the time you want. No artist will be available to assist you, but you can use the supplies you need.

- We want to respect your privacy. During the session, we reserve the right to take photos to be used for promotional materials and post to social media sites. If you do not want your picture taken for these purposes, you must EMAIL US and also remind us again when you arrive for your session. We take completed group shots. If you don?t want your picture taken, feel free to hold up your painting in front of your face. For children?s classes, we ask that they hold up their paintings in front of their faces. We do not want to be responsible for your children?s photos on social media. Unless the parent is with the child in the photo.
- Bring your camera! You?ll want to record the memories as they happen. We encourage you to share your photos on your social media networks!
- By registering for this event, your name will automatically be added to our MailChimp email database. If you do not wish to sign up for such promotions and discounts and member-only events, please do not complete the MailChimp notification process and your name will not be added. If you do sign up and wish to cancel at a later date, there is an unsubscribe note at the bottom of every MailChimp newsletter. Just click on it, and you are done.
- Minimum attendance is necessary for each paint event. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any event that does not meet this minimum.
- If we need to cancel or reschedule for any reason, you will be notified by email or phone.
- We cannot guarantee you a seat unless you reserve ahead of time.
- Family Paint sessions are recommended for ages 6 and up. Parents must accompany their children at all times during family events.
- Fundraisers will be held as often as possible for various charitable causes and community groups. Many of these sessions are open to the public, and a portion of each seat sold during these events is donated back to that organization. If you have an organization that would like to have a fundraiser, please contact us for scheduling, at least 60 days in advance of you desired date.
